Good middle-class food with a great beer garden. Always busy and good vibes in summer. Not too hot in summer because of the trees. Service always friendly.

Nice beer garden. Unfortunately the food is not very good. Therefore only 3 stars.

A great gastronomy, the food is great, the service was excellent, I will still have a look at the beer garden, as it is supposed to be the oldest and most beautiful beer garden in Reutlingen, I have to go there again.

This is how a beer garden should be. Great atmosphere, especially in the evening: fairy lights hang in old trees. Typical but comfortable seating. Good home-style fresh cuisine. Friendly and professional staff. Keep it up!

It's okay to drink, but the choice is a bit limited here too. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend food, not particularly well presented and definitely nothing special for the prices.

The food was delicious. The operation took some getting used to. Despite the almost empty restaurant and the not particularly full beer garden, you felt like you had to wait forever for someone to come. At the large table with a large company, it was not ensured that everyone got their food at the same time. So those who ordered first had their plates empty in front of them, while the last had no food in front of them. To reorder the drinks none of the service staff who passed by felt like they were until they were asked several times.

We were there last night. Nice beer garden, which increased the anticipation for good food. We had to wait a long time as it was very busy. Service very friendly. However, the food was underground and yes - an impertinence. Warmed ricotta dumplings that tasted like nothing (we were told their defrosting time as the reason for the long wait !!!! ????) and a cheese salad with olives and peppers from the tin and so-called onion rings, which turned out to be normal onions. As a sauce instead of vinegar and oil, a vinaigrette (probably also from a can). The fries were best. We suspect a "slip up" because the food at the neighboring tables (pulled pork) looked very tasty. So: Better to have less menu, better quality!

Very comfortable to sit outside, but the service wasn't great. Eating took a long time, but I had the feeling that it was forgotten, which in itself is not a problem but you can tell. Portions were a bit small. But in itself a nice place to have a beer.

In summer always a good place to enjoy the lukewarm summer evenings. Cozy in winter ... Nice service, solid kitchen. Top..

Nice beer garden. Super nice waiters, the waiting time (it was full & we hadn't reserved) was shortened with a sparkling wine. Food is excellent.

The beer garden is beautifully located under trees and in spite road near quiet! Kitchen simple and typical beer gardens! The staff, however, seems but in places a little overwhelmed when the shop is buzzing right, but remain always friendly. The prices are very reasonable! Is definitely worth a visit! A little tip on the edge, Seat would be helpful!

The beer garden itself is not bad. Unfortunately, the welcome words were "there is nothing to eat". Well, it’s nicer too. No food at 12.30 p.m. Saturday?

This is simply the most beautiful beer garden in Reutlingen ... just perfect .... everything is right, starting with the extremely friendly staff, the great food and the whole atmosphere ...... to sit under these old chestnut trees ..... .is like on vacation !!!! ONLY RECOMMENDED - JUST GO AND ENJOY !!!

Super delicious food, you sit super nice in the beer garden. Everything perfect. BUT But the waiters serve without a mask. You don't give an address or the data of one is not recorded. Is it sad that some people do not stick to the situation at the moment?

The location is great, the service friendly. But if the beer on the day of the visit exceeds the BBD, then that is rather ugly.

Probably the worst customer service I've had in Europe. Deserves a negative rating. I had been really wanting to visit this place since I first eyeballed it last December. I just returned to the area snd i was eager to try it as it was deemed very authentic. Last Tuesday(17-04-18) I took my fiance to grab a bite. The menu outside said kitchen's open until 22:00 and the restaurant was open until 2400. It was 21:39. The parking lot had 6-8 cars in it. After entering and sitting we were told the kitchen was closed, cold items only. We then asked (as everyone was still eating and some of the dishes were just brought out) what time the kitchen closed as the menu inside also stated 2200 restaurant closing at 2400. I then checked the time now being 2141. The waitress said the kitchen closed at 2140. I then had my fiance mention the posted hours as well as when are you actually open if you don't honor the menu hours as we would like to come back? The waitress shrugged her shoulder's and said 2140 sorry. After leaving as I dont speak fluent German i learned of everything that was said. I wouldn't be surprised if they get a brick thrown through the window. (Native Chicagoan)

Great Biergarten and Wirtshaus. (Mostly) friendly staff and good food! Really good food :) Come in the summer and sit outside under the old trees and enjoy a beer!
